Review: HOMBYS Memory Foam outdoor lounge chair pillows $35 (for two)

HOMBYS Memory Foam Outdoor Chaise Lounge Head Pillow 2 Pack Extra Large Waterproof Chair Headrest Pillow with Adjustable Strap for Patio, Backyard, Beach, Pool & Garden, Ultra Smooth & Soft Surface
This two pack of memory foam pillows comes vacuum packed in a roll. As soon as you unwrap it, they start to expand (and smell like new foam....so they need to air out for a few days...but since they are outdoor pillows that is fine). The outside shell is 100% polyester (think the outside of a cheap sleeping bag). It's a bit slick, and in the heat it may start to feel sweaty. They have a zipper so you can remove the foam ...

    • @summetj
      @summetj День назад

      I've never put sleeved cards into one. I have one I use for keeping electronics in, and one I used to transport several different decks for card games. When you put regular cards (no sleeves) in it, you can separate the two stacks and get at least a 1/4" (maybe up to 1/2") of open space between them, so I *think* it would work for sleeved cards, but I can't guarantee that.

    My 2016 Nissan Leaf shows a Red exclamation point in a Red triangle but that goes away when I am driving the car & comes back on when at idle or when I put in park. What does that red master warning light mean?

    • @summetj
      @summetj День назад

      That's a general warning light that is usually illuminated along with some other warning light to bring more attention to the issue. Check your manual (they are free online from Nissan as a PDF if you don't have the original in the glove box) and look for other lights in addition to it. It is more serious than the yellow exclamation point/triangle, so I would not recommend driving the vehicle until you figure out what it means. An ODBII tester (code tester) may also give you a history of any codes thrown, which I would expect to go along with that light.

    I have just broken Ravemen PR1200 looking at your video. My takeaways are: 1) It's super difficult (SUPER) to move the board and the cell inside the metal case. Without careful unsoldering the batteries you either break the cables on one or the other side of the batteries (I just did). 2) Batteries used in PR1200 are: FST 18650-2600 mAh CAP: 2600 mAh, VOL: 3.6V/4.2V 8E32520 017929 made in China. They are identical. 3) To remove the board you have to remove bigger button (rubber, which is very prone to damage while doing it + slighty flexible plastic "holder" for the rubber. It was blocking the board to be removed. Overall score for self-repairs: 1/10 Without being super careful, having great skills in soldering and being super patient, it's almost impossible to change the batteries. is it doable? Yes. Is it worth the risk? No. No at all. I love my 2nd and 3rd PR1200 light, but I thought that I will be able to replace dead batteries on the oldest one (from 2017 according to board description). UPDATE: The plastic part with port is different between older and newer PR1200. I wasn't able to replace older part with newer, because the ports are further from each other. I wanted to replace the one with lost rubber seals with the one that had them intact (above mentioned and broken). In the end I had to dremel out the micro-USB port to make it wider :) It doesn't look good, but it works!

    Rather than a dead short, I recommend that a series resistor in between the battery and the meter to create a voltage drop and save the fuse. I use a cheap 200 ohm linear potentiometer which can be adjusted so a fresh battery with good voltage can draw about 500 ma. A bad battery will not draw even that with the pot turned to minimum (zero amps) as you showed. A double A 1.3 volt rechargeable battery should be good for about 1,300 maH. Not sure but a dead short even for a second could be hard on the battery even for a NMiH. Good video!

      Yes, if you purchased the tree root without the ball head (or removed the ball head) it can screw onto the top of it. Depending upon angle you may need to reverse the handle to get full clearance for astronomy type usage where you are pointing things very near the zenith.

How easy is it to thoroughly clean the Meoky lid? It looks like the screw crevice would be a problem and possibly the hinge of the flap? @summetj 21 день назад

      Yes, just the temp measured at the clock.

    Thank you for this, Jay! I must’ve undone the configuration and now I cannot get the center column back to factory settings!

    How do i set this as my default input for my amazon seller account?

    • @summetj
      @summetj 21 день назад

      I don't know the answer to that. Typically with a computer it will act as a keyboard, so as long as the text entry area has focus it will "type" the bar code numbers into the appropriate spot.

    Question: where your hand is, does that Black part get Cold and Wet while using ? Mine is. I want to know if it safe ? Thanks

    • @summetj
      @summetj 21 день назад

      That is normal. As the compressed gas comes out of the tank and expands, it absorbs heat, causing the handle to cool and condensation to build up. If you use the torch for a long time the black handle will get colder.

      Yes, at the 2-minute mark in the video I tested charging it with a USBC to USBC charger and it properly negotiated USBC power.

    How do you handle the sludge building up on the walls and Bottom of the tube? Mine is almost completely clogged by now :(

    • @summetj
      @summetj 24 дня назад

      Maybe I haven't used it enough, but so far I haven't gotten sludge buildup inside the tube. [I do have sludge that comes out of the tube, especially on the first "shot", which I then let settle in a graduated cylinder and after I pour off the IPA I pour the sludge away. However, it doesn't "stick" much, so I can rinse it out with a little bit of IPA.

      @MichaelSchlesiger 24 дня назад

      @@summetj My tube had a 3-mm thick layer of sludge built up after 2 months of frequent use. But i also used 10l of resin in that time. So might just be the level of contamination on the IPA.

    This might sound dumb I saw the new season and now I feel as if I need this lol. I know you said it wasn't that durable but exactly how much do you think it can withstand without breaking? (BTW love your stuff)

      You can tap it against things, but as soon as you actually try to do a "swordfight" I'm sure it would snap.
